Good

A nice hotel close to both the trainstation and the busterminal.

The bed was too hard for me, but the staff helped by giving me two extra blankets to have under me. So then it was fine.

Good

Helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms, convenient central location. The first night, our room faced the street and was much too noisy, but the next day they quickly moved us to another room which was much quieter. Excellent value for the price.

The rooms facing the main street are too noisy at night. Not much variety for breakfast, particularly if you're not into Taiwanese style breakfast.

Decent hotel. Clean and comfortable. Closet the train station and places to buy food.

Only issue was the bathroom had no shower curtain so the whole bathroom got wet when I showered.

Best location near Hualien station. Super nice staff hotel, very polite and friendly, even offers me to change room. Provide a simple breakfast. Overall recommended hotel.

The room's wall little bit thin, so we can hear other neighbors talking.

Acceptable but could be improved

Breakfast was not bad. There was not enough fruits and the bun was cold and hard. The location was good, near to the train station. that's the main reason we chose Herhuan hotel.

The building is old and not well maintained. Its dark. The price is too high for that room quality.

Poor

the staff were excellent with good attitude.

Room looks like the 80s which ain't the problem but it was severely unmaintained with many cracks on the wall and the bathtub begin incredibly dirty. Moreover the tiling of the boothroom floor is horrendous with it being smooth so you're required to wear special shoes or else you will slip and fall. Breakfast is also horrible with the food selection being scarce and have barely and seasoning to it. You might was don't use the WiFi there was the whole level is using the same network making it super slow. using Google speed Internet test the upload speed went to 0.24mbps which is equal to that of 3rd world country WiFi, it constantly disconnects making it frustrating to access the Internet without constant disconnection. Moreover, the door are super old fashioned as it requires a key and not a digital card so it needs to be manually lock when you're inside the room which some families would not do as they were not notified beforehand. Overall, staffs were excellent however thr facilities were literally the worst of the worst. Not manintaned, horrible WiFi and bad design choice

Location, 8mins walk fm the train n bus station was convenient.

Hotel was old. Room size v small. Bedsheet n quilt cover felt like it was not washed.. Got small bites n iitch on hands n legs. Used tissue papers found in bedside table drawer! Not sure how Booking.com can give this hotel a 3stars rating!

Convenient but may need a revamp to keep it up-to-date

Great location only 5 min walk from Hualien train station. Location is convenient and there is a family mart right across the street. rThe staff is friendly. The lobby smells nice. It was quiet overall when I stayed. I didn’t try their breakfast so I can’t comment on that.

Overall a pretty old and hotel and facilities are kind of out of date. The shower doesn’t have a curtain so the water may splatter everywhere. It also has a strong old smell. The facilities seems nostalgic and can see traces of the remodeling from the old styles. I didn’t try the breakfast so no comment on that.
